Deerdale Off Road RC welcomed members for the club's August race meeting, with another competitive day of racing featuring the club's mixed Buggy and E-Buggy classes. Dry conditions and a well-prepared track provided excellent racing throughout the qualifiers and finals, with close battles taking place right through the field.

Qualifying

The 4 qualifying rounds set the stage for an exciting afternoon of finals, with drivers battling to secure their starting positions over a series of closely contested heats.

Graham Alsop topped the qualifying standings after consistently quick, consistent runs, earning pole position for the A Final. Mark Scott secured second on the grid, with Adam Smith completing the top three after a strong qualifying performance.

Further down the order, the fight for the remaining A Final places was incredibly close, with Paul Fyfe, Lee Tracey and Jack Holmes all putting together solid qualifying rounds to earn their places in the top final.

The B Final grid was equally competitive, with Colin Gibbon leading the field after qualifying ahead of Charlie Holmes and Wayne Stockbridge, setting up another closely matched race.
